The Central California Chapter of Make-A-Wish, founded in 1986, covers the following eight counties: Fresno, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced and Tulare. The chapter headquarters is located in Fresno, the center of the territory.

To date, the chapter has granted more than 1,050 wishes. Make-A-Wish believes that a life can be measured in memories, not just years. We believe that all children living with life-threatening illnesses deserve to experience a moment of happiness and normalcy, particularly during uncertain times.
